Royal William Yard in Stonehouse Plymouth, was the major victualling depot of the Royal Navy. It was designed by the architect Sir John Rennie and named after King William IV. Today, it has been beautifully restored and is a vibrant hub of community. This drawing captures the view of Royal William Yard from Mayflower Marina with Drake's Island, Plymouth Sound and The Great Mew Stone etched beyond.
